Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana peeled (optional!)
  • ½ avocado pitted, no skin
  • ½ cup red seedless grapes
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts or 2 teaspoons of chia seeds
  • ½ cup frozen sliced carrots
  • cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 navel orange, juiced 1/4 cup
  • ½ cup cold water

Instructions
 

  • In a high-speed blender's pitcher, combine the banana (if using), avocado, grapes, hemp hearts, frozen carrots, frozen strawberries, orange juice, and water - in that order.
  • Start the blender on low speed, then gradually increase the speed to high. Blend until smooth. If the smoothie's too thick, add a splash more water and blend to incorporate.
  • Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately! It makes two small smoothies or one large smoothie.
